Our network can bring your new family member to your door for people seeking pets in the US, UK, or anywhere in the world! While this is a lengthy and costly process, you will completely change your new best friend’s life, forever saving an animal from a life on the streets.
We ask interested potential adopters to be patient as we plan the logistics to bring. Travel cannot happen overnight. Please know you’ll have to wait a few months. Adopting an Indian street dog is most satisfying as you are giving a home to a homeless who otherwise has no other place than polluted traffic streets or overcrowded shelters.
We temperament test all dogs before bringing them. We check for human-friendliness, dog-friendliness, potty training, and other domestication behaviors. So that the dog’s adoption is smooth.
Here are the options for bringing dogs from India.
1. Bringing dogs with the founder on her usual trip to India – Economical but depends on her schedule.
2. Bringing via CARGO. Cargo is expensive and fast. It costs around $ 2,500-$ 2,800. Dogs can reach adopters very soon.
3. Find flight volunteers from India to the US via Qatar Airlines. Book a dog’s travel with them. It’s most economical but has a lot of dependencies. It is hard to find volunteers.
International adoption fees vary from $2,500 to $4,000, depending on the travel. We request adopters to help us raise funds if they cannot afford the full adoption fees.
Dog travel to the UK
UK travel is at least 5 months.
The UK requires dogs to travel only via airline cargo. Estimated CARGO cost is 1500GBP. This is in addition to the above expenses.
