Flood Relief
AP, TELANGANA FLOODS
In September 2024, Andhra Pradesh faced one of the worst flood crises in recent history. Thousands of animals are stranded, injured, or at risk of drowning. Many have been separated from their owners or habitats, leaving them vulnerable to starvation, disease, and further injury.
Our Response Plan:
Our proposed action plan includes:
1. Rapid Rescue Operations: Deploying our experienced rescue teams in boats and rafts to reach and provide food and aid to stranded animals.
2. Emergency Medical Care: Setting up mobile veterinary clinics to provide immediate treatment to injured and sick animals.
3. Temporary Sheltering: Establishing emergency shelters to house rescued animals until they can be reunited with their owners or safely released.
4. Food and Water Distribution: Providing essential nutrition and clean water to affected animals, including those still stranded in flood-hit areas.
5. Post-Flood Rehabilitation: Implementing a program to treat and rehabilitate animals suffering from flood-related injuries or illnesses.
