Abandoned, Alone and Afraid. This is A rescued Dog’s Journey.

Kittu, the rescue pup was once critically injured Indian stray mother dog laying in the middle of a busy street of Hyderabad, India. In 2020 Dec 25th, Kittu celebrated her first Christmas with mom Samantha Pauley, Dad Blake Parsons in Jacksonville, Florida. She is been in her forever home since April 2020 along with her fur brother Loki and meaw sister moo. She is living in an American dream Kittu never expected.
This particular story — stricken by the grim reality many dogs still face to this day — does have a happy ending.

When driving down the streets of Hyderabad, India in my visit, I saw a puppy, alone, helpless in the middle of the road. Gave a can of food.
She was small, and as I fed her, I saw her breasts were enlarged, and she wasn’t using her left hind leg. I fed her some more, but as I went to leave, she walked over to me. I wished to help her, and not knowing what else to do, I fed her some more. She ate again, and followed me as I went to leave. The thought of where to take her didn’t even cross my mind when I picked her up. I took her to my in-law’s house and contacted a nearby veterinary office. I purchased some antibacterial medication, as well as some de-wormer and flea medication.
It was December 4th, 2019, 10 days of looking after this dog had passed, and I realized I could bring Kittu home with me to the US. After the biopsy results, I took Kittu to another vet and got her mammary abscess drained, and she felt about 3lbs lighter. A day later, she started walking again. After a few more days, Kittu gets the energy to walk and move around.
On December 24th, I ended up taking Kittu with me to Florida, US, along with Chochori, and Posto, the rescued street dogs from Kolkata, with the help of Stray Dog Support Inc.
While in Florida, Kittu was in Poochies Pet Rescue wing. On January 11th, 2020, however, Kittu was sent to a veterinary hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, to undergo a leg amputation. Luckily, upon further inspection, the surgeons discovered that amputation was unnecessary and have since inserted bone plates.
On April 22nd, 2020, Kittu met her mom Samantha Pauley and her fur brother Loki for the first time. They all fell in love instantly.
